Camping

De Zuidduinen is a small campsite in Holland. The campsite is well laid out: 80 seasonal pitches, 200 touring pitches, 5 Mobile Homes and 4 wooden Campinghuts. There is car access on site only upon arrival and departure. The rest of your stay your car is parked at the parking lot at the entrance of the campsite. De Zuidduinen has an excellent location in Holland with lots of opportunities. You can go to the beach, to the cosy centre of Katwijk or to one of the surrounding cities in Holland.

The camping and caravanning pitches have an electricity hook-up and cable-TV hook up. The use of wireless Internet (WIFI) is for free on the campsite. Depending on the size of your tent or caravan you are allowed to put a small pup tent on your pitch without additional charge. A nice detail is the sandy, grass covered surface, which is a lovely combination even when it is raining because of the excellent draining.

We are very keen on preserving the natural beauty and the quiet atmosphere on and around our campsite in Katwijk, Holland. The fact that cars have to be parked on the parking lot is one of the most important factors of that. During the night, between 11 PM and 7 AM, silence is even obliged. The board of De Zuidduinen is hospitable, but operates towards sound pollution.

Pets are unfortunately not allowed on the campsite. Perhaps that is a bit harsh, but this decision is appreciated by the majority of our guests. Quiet is one of the most valuable gems on this family campsite in the dunes, and we would like to keep it that way!
